Our small bed & breakfast has six double rooms ranging in size from 11 to 25 m2. Every room is individually decorated and has its own bathroom. Two of the rooms have a balcony and three feature an original tiled stove. Our charming, old-fashioned rooms are equipped with all modern comforts.
Our bed & breakfast has an adult ambience and welcomes guests aged 18 and over. Our bed & breakfast is not for pre- or afterparties, but for a calm and cozy stay. There’s no blasting pop music downstairs and our rooms do not have televisions.

Enjoy a restful sleep in a cozy, home-like atmosphere. We are located in the city centre on a historic street lined with old wooden houses. The city’s key services and attractions are within easy walking distance.

Common services

A free Wi-Fi is available to our guests. You can relax in our upstairs lounge, where our guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits, as well as a TV, books, magazines and board games. The lounge fridge offers drinks and snacks for a small fee. Facilities for ironing clothes are available and laundry can be done, please ask for details. Our bicycles are also available for day trips while exploring the city.

Breakfast

Breakfast is always included in the price. We take allergies and special diets into account to a limited extent, depending on our capabilities - please mention these when you arrive. A plentiful and delicious breakfast is served in the neighboring building at our cafe, Villa Marenki.

Parking

Our inner yard has parking spaces for each room. We charge 15€/night for a parking space. Charging for electric cars (11 kW, Type2) costs 30€/night. Reserve a parking space when booking your room or upon arrival.

In the nearby areas, there are several short-term (0,5-2h with a parking disc) and paid parking spaces (weekdays 8-18 and on Saturdays 8-16, 2€/h). For longer stays, parking is also available at Hämeensaari nearby (1,50€/h, 8€/day, 22€/week).

If you don’t need a car, note that Hämeenlinna has excellent public transport connections by bus or train, both from Helsinki and Tampere.

Café Villa Marenki

At the neighboring Café Villa Marenki, you can stop by throughout the day for refreshments—whether it's a coffee, a pastry, or even a glass of sparkling wine. Our café is fully licensed to serve alcohol.

In the summer, you'll find a sheltered and cozy terrace behind the café. If you're feeling hungrier, the city's restaurants are located within just a few hundred meters.

Tips: Self-Guided Wine Tasting

Guests of our bed & breakfast can enjoy a self-guided wine tasting at our neighboring café, available at all times.
